The 1960
Mercury Meteor was only produced in Canada for the year 1960. Ford Motor Company of USA halted the production of the Meteor
model while still creating a sister car under the model names Galaxie & Fairlane. There are only very slight trim differences
between the Canadian version and the US versions. The fact the 1960 Mercury Meteor was only produced in Canada makes this
a fairly rare version of this car with only a little over 1600 of them produced.
This project car is a 1960 Mercury Meteor
Montcalm, it was found in pretty much original condition and very solid. This is a complete vehilce all the trim pieces
are present and in excellent condition. The goal of this project is to completely restore this vehicle back to better than
factory condition.
The idea of this site is to follow the restoration of this car and also make a meeting place for
